I’m Robert. I’ve spent more than 30 years working in technology, with a focus on audiovisual systems.

Curiosity came first.
I’ve been fascinated by technology since I was a kid. I’d take things apart to see how they worked, while my parents wondered why.
I was already working in audiovisual technology before September 2001. The events of September 11 motivated me to join the Marine Corps—to do my part and better myself.
I served four years and was stationed at Twentynine Palms, California. During that time, I deployed to Iraq twice.
I also had the opportunity to visit Australia and Hawaii, along with brief stays in Ireland, Germany and Kuwait.
Still curious. Still learning.
That childhood curiosity never went away. Audio, displays and the systems that bring them together are still what draw me to technology.
